Regular fire risk assessment reviews reduce the risk of a fire
When reviewing fire risks, regular assessments will reduce or remove the risk of fire. These assessments should also be reviewed upon any changes to the use of the building to provide additional protection to the occupants. This includes changes such as office layout, new equipment or equipment storage.
The interval for reviews should be chosen by your 3rd party BAFE certified fire risk assessor. This will be noted as part of a comprehensive fire risk assessment in the BAFE SP205 Scheme Document (v5 – Annex D).
